@keepupquestions That's sadly by design, not ironic. They don't teach the kids about what sex is and where their boundaries are, so they are more easily manipulated and abused. Cue 4-5x higher teen pregnancy rates than western Europe.

@furiousfatflabbergaster There was one of those in my city too. Same school had a block of cheap lowrise apartments across the street that were originally built for students living on their own. Not sure if they ever made it to their original goal, but the apartments were definitely not for students by the time I went to high school in the 90s.

@joseph124 Yeah, why would you think education would just stop because a kid got pregnant? The schools are great for helping girls bond with their babies while doing school work and bonding with other girls in similar situations.

Just googled: The US seems to have like 5-10 times the number of teen pregnancies per capita than most of Europe.
