Anyone else have a giant baby?

@washedinhisblood When she was born she weighed 8 pounds dropped to 7 and stayed around that till her 2 month appointment where she finally weighed 8.5 pounds. Now she’s 4 months old and weighs 16.8 pounds 88th percentile . I definitely have a bigger baby than most now haha.

@washedinhisblood My husband and I are both on the shorter size of average height and we have a very big baby. He’s been in 24 month clothes since he was 9.5 months old. He’s always eaten a lot too.

@washedinhisblood Me!!! Our sweet baby was born at 11lb 11oz (and no health issues!) I’m 5’4 and my hubby is 6’1, both of us naturally thin. No idea how we made such a chonk but it’s the best. He eats so good!

@tracing Hahaha! I labored for 2 whole days and eventually was so exhausted I let my ob talk me into a c section. Best decision I could have made. I don’t think we would have made it though a vaginal birth tbh.

@washedinhisblood Yeah, we were in 12 month clothing at 4 months.

Just turned 19 months and is currently wearing 3T-4T

She doesn’t even eat a lot. I don’t get it

Edit to add: was born in the 50th percentile for length and weight and didn’t get to the 99th till about 6 weeks old. Then just wouldn’t stop growing

@washedinhisblood Yup, my baby is 97% percentile height. 8months old and wearing 18 month outfits. lol I'm 5'6 and husband is 6'2". I am only slightly above average but I guess husband is pretty tall.

I went to the library story time a few weeks ago and the 15 month old little girl next to us was smaller. He's a big little guy!

@washedinhisblood Both of my kids are pretty large. My oldest was EBF and just always massive 99th percentile for both height and weight. By a month old he went from 7lbs 15oz birth weight to close to 12lbs lol. He’s 10 now and still a tall kid.

My youngest had his well visit today, 8lbs 4oz at birth and at 4 months he’s 28 inches and 16lbs, not quite as chonky as my oldest was but he’s so long lol. He’s EFF from birth so I think they gain weight a little slower. It’s funny though because neither myself or my husband are particularly tall people so idk where it’s coming from I’m 5’7 and he’s probably like 5’9.

@washedinhisblood Yes! My baby was born 10lb 2oz and 23”. My husband and I were both 9+lb babies but we were still shocked (we’re both relatively small- I’m 5’3” and he’s 5’10”). Definitely seeing that he’s growing out of clothes like crazy. He’s now 11 weeks and was measuring 14.5lb and 24” at his two month appointment. Eats like crazy compared to what all the charts were telling us. Up to 6.25oz now per sitting.

@washedinhisblood Mine was born at 50% and then went to 80% around 6 months. And then she went to 97% at 9 months. She’s now 13 months and wearing 2T. She’s bigger than both me and my husband when we were babies.

@washedinhisblood My six month old is 99 percentile. He’s massive. He was in 9 to 12 month stuff at 4 months BUT his growth rate seems to have slowed the past month. The pediatrican said this is normal. The growth curve slows down around 6 months.

@washedinhisblood Yes!! My boy was 9 lbs at birth and 24 inches, then 10 pounds at his two week checkup. He's gained a pound a week for the last three months and is just now starting to slow to .5 lbs a week. He's in 9-12 month outfits at a little over 3 months and around 18 pounds now. My husband and I are both around 5'9 so we don't know where he gets it, but my back is killing me lol

@washedinhisblood My SIL had her baby 2 weeks before mine was born. Mine is currently 8 week old, 3m clothing, and around 12lbs. Hers is 10 weeks old, 12m clothing, and close to 20lbs. I always laugh when people say that my baby is “big” lol

@washedinhisblood she’s leveled out into the 50th percentile range, but when my girl was born she was 10lb 5 oz

she came home in 3 month clothes and never got to wear any of the cute little newborn outfits

@washedinhisblood Yessss my baby was 97 percentile when she was born and at 2 months she was 100 lol now she’s almost 3 months and weights 8kg she’s soooo heavy and just wants to be held …. SEND HELP

He was 10 lbs at birth and 22 inches

@washedinhisblood My 17 month old has always been off the charts for height. He’s starting to wear 3T clothing.

@washedinhisblood My 9 months old was born at 36 weeks and was 98th percentile. Now he’s 24 pounds, is 100th percentile for height. He’s almost walking and is basically a small toddler now.
