I am at a loss with my 2.5 year old’s behaviour

@smallman The trick is to keep him busy. My kids do this when they're bored. To entertain my 3 year old I have these glow bugs that I keep in the freezer so they last longer. When he starts to get that way I tell him to take out the bugs, I'll run them under hot water to get the glowing started again then hide them around the house in the dark rooms and he spends the next half hour looking for glow bugs without throwing a fit. For my 5 year old I'll let him play Mario with me for an hour or so. But then when I make him shut it off he gets bored again so maybe that doesn't work too well.
