@laurencesantos One of our biggest reasons is my health.
We had to do IVF to conceive and that whole journey to get to IVF toon multiple surgeries on my part. We got lucky with IVF though! First transfer. I had a normal pregnancy and had no major complications. I wasn’t a happy pregnant lady but it was fine. Then I had a severe postpartum hemorrhage after giving birth which almost killed me. Thankfully I had an amazing physician and staff at the hospital. But that was traumatic enough for me to be OAD. I don’t know how I got through those first couple months when I was so anemic.
And then I suffered from a sever bladder prolapse due to birth. It made my life absolutely miserable and I had to have yet another surgery to repair that along with months of PT after. My daughter is 2.5 now and I would do it all again for her. It was worth it all but I just can’t do anything else to my poor body. I’m only just now feeling back to myself.
