Does anyone know if r/daddit is coming back?

@lapidoth There are a lot of third-party apps people have been using to access Reddit. Some are really helpful, like moderation tools and accessibility (e.g., official Reddit is inaccessible to the blind). Some are pretty problematic, like those that are being used to train bots like chatGPT to create unhelpful/plagiaristic content.

Reddit created a new policy that is going to charge exorbitant fees to users of these 3rd party apps. The volunteers who do moderation for their popular subs really don’t have any interest in paying Reddit to help generate meaningful content while Reddit keeps the monetization rewards.
