Don’t expect your babies to do things they haven’t been shown

@cph It is sometimes difficult to explain how to do stuff that you have been doing for decades. You don’t really think about it and it just happens.

Example: When I was teaching my son how to ride a bike, he was having real trouble pedalling and I didn’t know how to explain it. Just push down on the pedals didn’t really cut it. When I said “Just move your feet in a circle” it all came together and he wizzes around at mach 1 now.
 
@cph We were trying for months to get our son to clap and suddenly one day a couple weeks ago he did it and now he won’t stop.
 
@cph Just made remember that I was in the store the other day and this little tree year old was shouting “Marco!!” Down random isles, and occasionally getting a “Polo!” back. The poor mom was embarrassed but most people were loving it.
