Blended family, would adding one more be too much?

I have 3 step babies that I get every other week, ages 9,6, and 4. Then I have one 7 month old that is biologically mine. I want to have one more so my biological baby doesn’t feel alone or ostracized from their half siblings… should I have one more or is that too much ? I think about it every day and need help.

@kerrylog I don't think you need to have another baby to be a companion for your existing baby. Sounds like that baby has 3 older step siblings to dote on them and that's a pretty sweet setup! I bet you they'd end up closer to the current baby than if you had 2 babies close in age.

@sumanakram They are very good with the baby. I just worry that they will be inevitably closer with each other since they are around each other 24/7

But I also fear that 5 will mean they won’t get the attention they all deserve. I’m conflicted.

@paulgilldrums My partner emphasizes that his main goal in life is to make me happy, but that this is something that I need to decide.
