Wanted to share with another human over 9 months lol

Feeling a little lonely and sad that I had nobody to share news with except my son who can not talk yet lol. So here I am :p
I had a work event tonight. I wasn’t gonna go or anything but got convinced to go with my favorite coworker. Flash forward and we are there after work.
Turns out I won an award! I’ve been with my job for 5 years :) I have loved every moment. Yes it can be crazy and a lot, but when I really think about it, I don’t picture myself doing anything else except maybe more.

Anyways just thought I would share lol :p

@bcuzbcuz Remember though, a job is part of your life not your life. If it becomes your life you lose your identity. Cuz once the job is gone who are you? Don't ever look at yourself as anything that is more than a number with your employment. Even more important, remember, there's always somebody younger and more qualified waiting to take your place. Nobody is irreplaceable, remember NOBODY....

And yes, I know the feeling of having an accomplishment but having no adults to share it with. :) We're here for you!
