Thinking about getting Nexplanon as a 15 y/o

I’m a 15 year old girl who is struggling with PMDD and also just looking to get on birth control in general. I talked to my doctor about my symptoms and she said the arm implant would work best for me. I have a low bmi (I’m 5’2 and a little under 100 pounds) I’m just wondering about the pros and cons before I go any farther. I’m really scared that it’ll make my depression etc worse.
