My brother texted me a 4am telling me his wife will be giving birth today. I get off at 3pm. Should I be taking off of work today to try and go to the hospital earlier?
@vinnymw I’d say, don’t worry about it. Just tell him to keep you updated and to let you know when it’s ok for you to visit.
Because there are so many things to factor in - how tired they’ll be, baby’s health, what time the baby actually comes, whether it’s a natural delivery or cesarean, the hospital rules for visitors, visiting times... and so on. Let him tell you what works for them.
