My bonus was pro-rated to deduct my maternity leave

@mh86 All bonuses are prorated for any leave of absence at my employer (time off after surgery, any parental leave, bar leave, etc). Most of these are paid leaves. I also got 6 months off fully paid, (and got promoted while I was out) so I didn’t mind that my bonus was prorated, it seemed like a fair trade.

I would even say that a male lazy coworker can do the same with his fmla for his condition.

They wouldn't prorate HIS bonus.
