I know it sounds a bit selfish, but dang this kid is only 21 months and he’s eating EVERYTHING. I literally can’t eat without him chasing me for a bite. I love this kid but man the only time I enjoy food is at work and I take ONE 15 so I can get back to him faster. I know I’m not the only one that misses having their own food.
@jeromiusintoonesimus It'll swing back the other way and you'll eat all he leaves on his plate, frustrated because four minutes prior to lunch he was starving.
@jeromiusintoonesimus It's all good. I'm not hating on you for it or anything. It's just a word that I, in particular, dislike. I'm not going to try to stop people from using it just because it offends ears (or eyes in this case). As much as I think it isn't hard to just say "you all," I'm not the type of person to police language of others.
Getting to the content of your actual post - I'm actually a bit envious of your situation. My 3yo will barely touch anything that isn't a chicken nugget or noodles. And even chicken nuggets are hit and miss.
@jeromiusintoonesimus I wish my daughter ate everything, she is interested in what I eat atleast so I'll always share with her but when it comes to her food she is getting increasingly more picky.
@katrina2017 My youngest sister is 21 next month. She's always eaten spicy food, and now she uses it as a party trick. When she was 2 or 3, she grabbed a bowl of salsa off the table and drank it down before anyone could stop her. She still goes hard when we get wings, too.
@jeromiusintoonesimus We went apple picking last year and they had only a small selection of food. Son got a hot dog and I got some pulled pork bbq. He ended up eating my entire bbq and I had to eat his hot dog.
@jeromiusintoonesimus I make about 1.5 as much of anything I cook these days, because my 2 year old daughter will inevitably eat her own portion and start on mine or my wife's.
I jokingly looked away and made a study of the ceiling for 30s and when I looked back she had swiped my last slice of pizza.
