6.3 lb 2 week old - what are my options from wraps/carriers I already have

I have a beluga wrap (similar to the Solly wrap), a Moby, a Sakura Bloom ring sling and a Tula explore. I tried wearing the baby in the Beluga wrap but baby cried the entire time I had him in there and he’s so tiny I couldn’t even wear him fully so I gave up. It’s recommended weight starts at 7lb. So does the Tula explore. What are my options? I don’t want to buy another wrap/carrier.

@jakblak I’d use the ring sling. I believe those and woven wraps are the two main options for babies under 7 lbs.

@jakblak It can be a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it, it’s great.

@katrina2017 I tried the ring sling and it worked… now am waiting for the HBC to deliver so I have two options…

@jakblak That’s great! More options are always good! I love my ring sling, but the one shouldered thing gets heavy for me when the baby gets bigger.

@katrina2017 I am liking the HBC but am going to give the ring sling another go for at-home. I find any kind of SSC to be cumbersome for home use. I need something soft.

@jakblak The ring sling is definitely a good option! Once you’re used to it, it’s a nice quick way to keep baby close.

@jakblak Nope! I think some people will find one easier and some will find the other.

Is this for front carrying? Just disclaiming that the Moby can’t safely be used for back carrying.

@jakblak I'd suggest trying the moby and the ring sling. Both should work fine for a 6 pounder.
