@ajewelinhiscrown I can't imagine with three kids! With one, the most helpful trick for me is pre-making a bunch of food while my wife is still in town, so I don't have to spend time cooking or much time cleaning while she's gone.
@ajewelinhiscrown My wife travels for work multiple times per month so I have 2/2/4 year olds solo. In addition to sticking with routine like others have said, we have also found that spending some time explaining it to them the day or two before helps. “Mama is going to be gone for work for two nights. Tomorrow Dada will be doing bath time, reading books and brushing teeth”. Saying it multiple times seems to help them mentally prepare. Also, getting someone to come help you if it’s available
