Newborn is 7 weeks and has slept maybe a combined 3 hours without being held since birth

@tshane I could have written your post.
My little one is 7 weeks and everything is how you described. My little boy is breastfed and I think it’s gas that keeps him up at night. But honestly, everything you have wrote I can sympathise with as it’s the same for me. I keep dozing at night with my baby as a result

@tshane Have you tried inclining her? What about using one of those swings? I had a similar issue until we found out she had reflux and a slight incline of her mattress would help and by golly did it help.

@createyourhealingpath Swings are even less safe than cosleeping.

@jg_lrd I’m not saying to let the baby sleep in there for hours on hours. I’ve supervised my baby sleeping in swings and can happily report that she’s still alive.
