My 5-y/o daughter "well, actually"d me

@concernedcatholic My 7 year old daughter decided to "well actually" a friend of ours on an anime term the other day. Our friend happens to have a masters in library science, works at a jr. high and lived in Japan for three years. We had a long conversation about being respectful after that one.

@concernedcatholic When my oldest was 4, someone gave her a paw patrol Liberty toy for her birthday. She INSISTED that she didn’t get any Paw Patrols for her birthday because Liberty wasn’t officially on the Paw Patrol (until we saw the movie). That level of pedantry made me know she was my kid.

@chikupatel LOL! Similarly... I'm American, but when my daughter was heavily into Peppa Pig, she would correct me with English-isms. "That's not a flashlight, daddy! That's a torch!"

So if I said “that’s a unicorn ….actually no that’s an alocorn” she’d be like “no, that’s a unicorn!” lol
