How much do initials matter?

Our last name starts with W. We like a lot of names that start with E, but do you think they’d be made fun of for their initials spelling EW?

@greyknight Oh my gosh! I did this with my TWO girls before realizing what i did! Both of them are E.W and I love E names, so we’ll just keep it up with the rest of them!

I had only seen their initials with their middle names, EKW and ESW. So never came to mind!

@greyknight My older brother suggested before I was born names so my initials would be DEAD since my parents went for the double middle name.

But have known poeple with initials B .J. and A S.S

Kids can be mean and find anyway to pick on each other

@greyknight If your in the south there are a lot of monograms. If you had the name for example: Emma Kate Walter her monogram would be eWk so that may or may not affect your decision. I think EW is fine bc I only put my initials on paperwork so no one else really sees it.

@greyknight If you love the name then goooo for it! I’m hoping we’re raising babies to be confident enough (or at least loved enough!) to not mind their initials spelling EW.
