I went in for a SA last Friday, and my results popped up in my email today.
Appearance:abnormal
Liquefaction:normal
Volume (mL): 2.8 (normal)
pH: 7.5 (normal)
Sperm Concentration: 0 (WHAT!)
% MOTILE
a: motile: 0
b: immotile: 0
MODAL PROGRESSION: N/A
Total Motile Count: 0
Additional Comments: NO SPERM OBSERVED IN CONCENTRATED PELLET OF TOTAL EJACULATE; TRANSLUCENT
So, possibility #1 is that I did it wrong. It was the first time I've ever had to aim into a cup, and I was in a bad position and may have pinched something. I thought it looked different than usual (the translucency) but figured it was just the length of time since I had ejaculated.
Possibility #2 is that something is wrong with my tubes, but fixable. If this is the case, it's going to be really hard to take care of, because I have a fear of needles bordering on a phobia. Any kind of procedure to fix what's wrong or extract sperm for another procedure will be traumatizing.
Possibility #3 is that I cannot make children. That's honestly terrifying.
