Food for thought from a twin: naming your multiple bundles of joy

@rhandi My kids have names that sound good together but have absolutely nothing in common. Every time I make appointments somewhere new for them I use the additional comments section on the booking form to say "twin sibling to [other twin name], please do not cancel additional appointment".

I know better than to do matching names. My uncles have names that rhyme. One of my sisters and a brother have almost identical starts to their names. Plus 6 of us share two middle names (one for the boys, one for the girls).

@lawrence7 We're half Swedish, half Norwegian. They settled on twists of two historically Scandinavian names and came up with 'Bryttevena' (Bri-teh-veh-n- yuh), me, and Brynndlana (Brin-d-law-nuh), her.

I would have been Brynhilde (yuck) and she was almost Brynveig (Bree-n-vi). I thank them frequently for choosing wisely.
