@ho2008 I recommend washing under running water with little sope if needed after every poop and put some cream (in Europe we have Sudocrem). Wet wipes are convenient but can cause diaper rush and too frequent washing can cause skin irritation so do nothing if there is no poop.
Other thing I do to avoid rash is to use cloth diapers as much as possible at home ( I have about 10 from AliExpress, inside is absorbant pad and outside is waterproof-ish fabric) and for going out and nighttime we here in Europe can buy Japanese diapers with cotton inside.
