@quaheem I went to 38+1! My c section was scheduled but I was in labor when I arrived at the hospital (unbeknownst to me!). They were 7lbs 5ozs, 20.5” and 7lbs 6ozs, 20”. No issues at all.
@quaheem Try not to get too hung up about the number of weeks. If you trust your doctors and listen to what your body is telling you then all of that will also help you figure out when the right time to deliver is. The fact that you've made it this far already is amazing. Mine were delivered very very early but have both recently graduated university.
@quaheem Delivered my di/di twin girls at 38+5; was induced at 9am and they were born at 6/6:30pm same day. Had to deliver in the OR just in case but both were delivered vaginally and we all went home the next day.
Thank you so much for the huge amount of response and kind words. I really asked this because I was hoping to go to 38+4 weeks due to the fact that there’s a new law in my country that gives twin parents an extra 26 weeks of paid maternity leave, but it counts from the 1st of May. Unfortunately got the call today that I will have my c-section 37+1 or 37+2 due to hospital policies regarding twin birth. But all that matters is that they’re healthy! And my body is ready to get these 6.6 pound babies out
