X-post from r/beyondthebump: am I insane?

@katlee21 I would take baby with me and find someone trusted there to care for him/her. I’ve been fortunate that a) we only have one child and b) that mu husband has a lot of paid time off. I’ve had to go to NOLA, Chicago twice, upstate NY, and DC since my son was 4 months. These were multi day conferences for work. I was only able to get out of one. It’s still challenging for them with me but I can nurse at lunch and on breaks when I can go back up to the room. It’s not ideal but honestly what is?

You know your situation best, but if my husband weren’t able to join me and we had another one, I think he would be scared shitless of how to care for them both on his own. The feeding and bedtime for baby is so challenging.

Wishing you luck!!

@katlee21 I also have two kids and have done a number of permutations (taking both, leaving one, leaving both) and have found that leaving both is the best. I'd line up additional help at home and leave both.
