@randall1967 I asked for part time when returning from maternity leave. Was told they only had full time positions and would need to split 1 full time into 2 part time if they did that. I no longer work there. Have a baby with health issues now, couldn't make the 40+ hours a week work for us. I didn't qualify for extended leave past 6 weeks either.
@randall1967 Same thing happened To a coworker. hr denied a temporary (she only needed 2 months) of part time. It was said if we offer it to you we have to offer to everyone. She was given the option of leave of absence instead.
