Sling/wrap you can put on over a sleeping baby?

My baby is 1 month old and we have two stretchy wraps (a thick Boba and a lightweight Sollybaby) and an old Ergo Omni 360. She usually likes the stretchy wraps (I’m wearing her in the boba now haha), but sometimes when she’s cranky she won’t go in it and just wants to be held to fall asleep. I’m wondering if there’s a way to safely put a wrap/carrier on over her when I’m already holding her asleep. Could a ring sling do this? Or is there a safe way to tie the boba on over the baby? It seems like the ergo could be used this way when she’s bigger, but not sure about now because we have the old-style ergo newborn insert and it would be tough to get her in that while asleep.

ETA: I also saw this on Amazon, might work?? Though I do see some reviews say that it’s not great for smaller people and I’m 5’3”.

@brineheart You can pre-tie the Boba then put her in once she’s deep asleep. A ring sling could also work! I’ve maneuvered myself and a sleeping baby into a ring sling occasionally.
