My wife, I suspect due to her experience as a woman, knows she needs to push back sometimes and force people to listen to her. It's something I've been trying to learn for my daughter's sake.

@moialiceme FYI to all other dads. generally speaking Tylenol/acetaminophen for fevers. Advil/ibuprofen for aches and swelling.

@skcin7 Advil/ibuprofen also reduces fever. We were alternating between Advil and Tylenol but both are effective

@skcin7 They both do those things. They both reduce fever and reduce pain. Plus you can use them at the same time or alternatively. We have had times we the Dr advised to alternate between them, take Ibuprofen and 3 hours later take Tylenol and rinse and repeat. There are also times where they can’t take ibuprofen due to it interacting with a different medicine, or even Vice versa. This rule of thumb isn’t as helpful as it may seem and may cause issues. Always, ALWAYS, double and triple check when taking different medication together

Make a complaint to the medical board about the doctor who did not document. They will thoroughly investigate
