Older twin parents - sleeping?

@stevek If only. 5 bedrooms was way out of our price range even though we bought when the market and interest rates were low. I wish we didn’t need the 3rd room but even as it is, it’s a guest room, storage room, and office space all in one.

@moore2014 What time are you putting them to bed?

If they’re going to play for an hour or 90 minutes move the bedtime forward then close that door and let them get bored?

@voyant We did a trial run on Christmas break. They were waking up about 7am, so targeted nap around noon or so. I put them down for nap at 11am to let them play and still by 12:30pm, no signs of sleep from either one. At that point, it’s going to start to interfere with bed time, plus they were both so wound up they were starting to run into stuff and push/hit each other. I decided to pull the plug and try again another day
