@cloudbyday90 If you think Maximus is a bit much, Maxim is great. I've known a few people called Maxim and it seems very natural in an English-speaking country (no pronunciation issues etc). So, if that's your concern, I wouldn't worry about it!
@cloudbyday90 I think Maximilian is as extra as Maximus. So like, if you like Maximus, go for it. He’ll go by Max and have a cool longer name to use or go by when he ages if he so chooses! Also, dog names are so irrelevant. A pet can be named ANYTHING. As an EMMA, I’ve met multiple people who’ve responded to me introducing myself with, “OH! My dog is named Emma” lol so disregard that worry I’d advise!
@cloudbyday90 I actually worked for a company for Medicaid/Medicare that is called Maximus lol I personally don’t think it’s a good name, but if you like it go for it.
