I’m on norethindrone (0.35 mg), and I haven’t had my period for 3 months now. Is this normal?

I’ve been taking norethindrone for almost a year now. My periods were usually regular and happened once a month. But for the past 3 months, I haven’t had my period.

Is this normal?!

@naveedbutt As long as you tested negative for pregnancy, yes, it's normal and not a cause for concern. Hormonal BC thins the endometrium, which means your bleeding may lighten up or disappear.

@naveedbutt If you’re taking the pills continuously yes this is normal! Not sure how universal this is but my norethindrone packs do not include placebo pills. Therefore if you just take the packs back to back, you won’t get your period. You have to take a break between them if you want a period.
