Help settle a bet?

My wife and I are going back and forth about baby names. I made up a name a few months back that I really like and think is unique but my wife absolutely hates. We have retired the name as an option, but my wife was picking fun at me about how atrocious it was. I insisted that surely SOMEONE would be willing to name their daughter this. She bet that literally no woman or man on earth would consent to it. So, to settle a bet, I’m putting it out to the people.

Would anyone on God’s green earth name a daughter Harver? No typo there: H-A-R-V-E-R. Thank you good people of the Internet. You can’t hurt my feelings. Just give us the cold hard truth.

@jasong83 It’s nearly acceptable for a boy given the masculine connotation (Harvey, etc). Not ok for a girl IMO. But I can’t say you should lose the bet. I think some people will go for that gender-neutral-ish feel or that trendy, turn-a-boy-name-into-a-girl-name idea. But not this person.

@jasong83 I would say no but I just meet someone yesterday who named their daughter Falyn pronounced Fallon. So I guess someone would do it, of course some one would but, yicks

@jasong83 No, I would not. Harvest is kind of an interesting idea but probably not wearable for a girl. Which brings me to a name I do like: Season. Kurt Russell was married to an actress named Season. It’s different without being too weird.

@jasong83 Absolutely not. Possibly because for me, as a Dutch speaking person, I immediately saw Haver which means wheat. So to me Harver sounds like a brand name for flour or something. Also it's just not a nice sounding word!
