Colleagues (men) act like I don’t e it’s since I became a mom

Like I don’t exist

Does anyone else relate to this?

They will ignore me, not pay attention. This started when I started showing. I am heavier now post partum and I still notice it.

I think they paid more attention when I looked more attractive and put together?

@quest911 I would say it’s because you are heavier, as you said. Not because you are a mom. Those men don’t remember which women have kids and which women don’t. They just see a heavier woman and feel no need to pay attention to her or even show her basic human decency. Some may go out of their way to be mean to you. You’ve lost your “pretty privilege” for the first time. Now you can feel how men treat the rest of us our entire lives.

@sheogorath87 You are absolutely correct. Though it is not the first time I have lost that privilege (I didn’t have a lot of it). My weight dwindled in my early 20s and this happened then too.
