Hey sooo I got my iud inserted Feb 23. Went as you’d expect, hurt but I was numbed and honestly it was more uncomfortable than anything. The cramps after had me in bed the rest of the day but ever since I’ve had consistent cramping.
They strike randomly and are worse some days than others. The pain ranges from a slight 2 to a heavy 6 where I have to stop and sit down to make it through the pain. Sometimes I feel a sharp pain in my uterus and a pushing on my cervix and the pain is anywhere from again a slight 2 to a heavy 6.
I’ve gone to the doctor and they’ve checked my iud and said that everything looks fine but I don’t know why my cramps are still so bad after 2 weeks. Will I have to continue this another 2 and a half - 5 1/2 months?
