4m/o exposed to covid-need breastmilk help

@edmerch1984 So how breastmilk works is, (this is more a theory than proven btw!) antibodies are made by saliva to nipple contact , if the child nursing is unwell the milk will produce antibodies for that child. Also if you were recently vaccinated before freezing this pumped milk there would be antibodies from that. (The vax is proven not a theory)
 
@momof3teens The backwash theory of breastmilk antibodies has zero evidence behind it and is almost certainly not true. Moms and babies just generally share germs because they are in close contact touching breathing and kissing each other, the same as any other two people. So therefore, if a baby is sick their mother/parent is also continually exposed to that virus and making antibodies for themselves, some of which will go into the milk. It doesn't matter if you're pumping or breastfeeding directly.

That said, antibodies don't survive very well in frozen milk.
