r/regretfulparents is a sobering & important reddit to read through when waiting/fencesitting

@jinsun That is the cold hard truth. Negative people are the loudest in their echo chambers.

Started prenatals and it’s messed up my period

@ja1717 Nope! There’s another reason why your periods are off, definitely see your OB but it’s def not from vitamins.

23f cannot wait to start a family (hoping to start TTC this year)

@eastsideeric It’s the same thing when birth control is prescribed for PMDD, it’s literally used to treat suicidal thoughts that occur before and during menstruation (one of the reasons I take it). It could be the hormones causing it, in which case OP would need to see her doctor for an evaluation.

23f cannot wait to start a family (hoping to start TTC this year)

@eastsideeric I’m ND, but I’m not here to speculate what OP has going on. All I know is, obsessive thoughts aren’t healthy whether ND or NT.

23f cannot wait to start a family (hoping to start TTC this year)

23f cannot wait to start a family (hoping to start TTC this year)

@sam81 I think if ttc is taking over all of your thoughts every single day, you may want to speak to your therapist. Birth control can really regulate your hormones so that your life isn’t being disrupted by these thoughts and desires. There’s no reason to rush.

How do bring up timelines with your husband?

@acewoodson My husband and I have very open communication, so I think establishing open communication without fear is key. If you’re afraid to talk about certain subjects for whatever reason, that’s a red flag.

    Best workout for labor prep

@ohgemma Why do you think only cardio would be helpful for labor? I would think strengthening your core and pelvic floor would be the best.

    Anticipating the nauseous stage

@candycrush1005 That’s what I was thinking as well, I had no desire to exercise because I was so tired and slept a lot. Even when not sleeping, I was always laying down due to zero energy.

    Anticipating the nauseous stage

@tangdalun Not everyone gets sick during pregnancy, I wasn’t at all. Just my 2 cents.
