Trying to settle on a “Z” name for a baby girl

My partner has a long history of Z first names in his family, so we’re wanting to carry on the tradition with our baby (due in sep, so I’ve got a long while to decide the name.)

We really like the name Zephyra or Zephira (we’d call her “Zephie” for short.) This one’s my husband’s top choice.

Other choices I really like:

Zia

Zephina (calling her “Phina” for short)

Zofia

Zaya

Zuri

Really open to any thoughts here!

@aveotheotokos There's at least 3 Zayas at my kids' daycare, though not all spelled this way.
Maybe it's a local anomaly, but one is called Big Zaya, one is Baby Zaya and not sure how they differentiate the middle one.

I like Zephyra more than Zephina, from your list, but I'd lean more to Zuri overall.

@hubbahubba5 Oh wow.. my sons name is Isaiah and we call him zaya alot… not really a nickname but kind of just a lazier way to say his name? lol. Never saw it as an actual name before.

There’s also Zabrina and Zadie.

@judy123 Isn’t Zadie Yiddish for grandma or grandpa? I could be wrong but that’s what I think of.
