Small yolk sac

This is an IVF pregnancy. Went in for 7w0d ultrasound and baby was measuring 7w1d. HR 144. However yolk sac was measuring 2.3mm which is very small for this gestational age, measuring

@pennyfree Mine measured 2.2 at almost 7 weeks, but only on one ultrasound (I had several due to bleeding issues). I think it might just be variation in angle and measurements because it was over 3 for every other scan, so if your doctor wasn’t concerned I would try not to worry! Things are so small at this point that measurements seem like they can vary a good bit. I’m almost 13 weeks now (also IVF) and all has been well.

@stephenwitharose Thank you for sharing! Definitely makes me feel better . My clinic said “everything looks perfect” and graduated me from my fertility clinic but of course was worrying due to seeing it be so small.

@pennyfree Hi OP, how is your pregnancy going? Same concerns at my 7w US today. YS measuring 2.4mm.
