You could get a truckle bed for your child (a smaller bed that pulls out from underneath the bigger bed) or you could get him one of those small toddler floor beds for showing CPS there is a bed-sharing alternative and also for yourself, in case sometimes you need to change up the sleeping arrangement!

@debbiedee I think that’s smart to do. Plus if you can buy a little bed or fancy air mattress just to give each other the space

You could also move your bed into the living room and give your 3.5 year old there own room.

Pinterest has a lot of good layout ideas for incorporating a bed in the living room.

@debbiedee That’s what I’m planning to do. Mine is 6 so she’ll have the big bed and I’ll put the twin bed in the living room behind my couch.
