Looking for girl and boy name suggestions.
I like classic/strong names, but also not super popular (I'm in the USA). I don't want my child to have to be known as "first name, last initial" because there are 3 others with the same name in the class.
Nothing super trendy or totally unique either. I don't like nicknames, so nothing that can be apparently shortened like Theodore (nn Theo or Teddy), Lillian (nn Lily), etc. Also, no crazy trajediegh spellings or anything that may prove difficult for most to pronounce.
We'd like to use a family name as a middle name (currently considering Helen, James or Seamus). And our last name is a 3 syllable Italian name ending in "o".
Some examples of names I like l, but DH isn't a fan of, include:
Girls: Blair, Sloane
Boys: Salem, Neil, Morgan
I'm also partial to Irish names for some reason, but it's not a deal breaker. We already have a boy Quinn. And I tend to like shorter, 1-2 syllable names.
