Join brand new UPK?

Would you join a brand new Universal PreK being offered by your town (through YMCA)? We love our daycare, but the preK would be with kids from our school district and offer a chance for something new. The UPK is obviously free but before/after care is not. Just wondering what else you’d consider here besides $…

@ahead Yes. All my kids have started UPK as soon as it was available to them. There would need to be an extremely compelling reason for me not to do it. It was a huge cost savings and I never considered sticking with daycare once UPK was available, especially since there was an aftercare option.
