@goblue24 Totally understand how that could be a frustrating conversation. It really sounds like she was assuming your journey and feelings about the helmets were identical to hers and was probably reassuring herself just as much as she was trying to be a supportive friend. If having twins has taught me anything, it’s that people are thinking about themselves and their experiences 90% of the time so never take things too personally. Or at least that’s what I tell myself while receiving all of the inappropriate and unsolicited parenting advice.
