Had to extend maternity leave - how do I return?

@stephen68 You have a right to return to your job (or one with similar pay, benefits, hours and responsibilities) after your leave. They can't just up and ghost you. As much as it sucks (I hate calling too) I'd give them a call to follow up.

I find it really weird that no one has been following up with you during your leave. I had our HR person emailing me periodically to check up on me and see what my plans were for coming back to work (even though she knew I was 99% certain I wasn't coming back to that job)
