Hi all, I see a lot of comments talking about the C curve, refering to babies spine/neck shape. I would love it if some other educators could weigh in as I know some still use it. However, I'm currently doing additional training and we've been advised not to use this term and use "curved J shape". People, especially those who post one fit check and that's all the research they do (which is great! and better than most) hear or see the "C shape" recommendation, literally put baby in that shape -and why wouldn't they. They loosen things too much and it puts baby at risk of slumping and asphyxiation. So the curved J shape is preferred to avoid accidental slumping in babies of inexperienced wearers.
