Baby doesn’t growl

I was just FaceTiming with a friend, and she showed me her 4 month old growling. I looked it up and it said babies will growl starting at 4 months, and mine has never done that. She squeals and makes m and b consonants, hasn’t babbled yet. She’s going to be 8 months old next week. Is this something I should be concerned about?

@urbanlegends I hope this isn’t like a troll post (it sounds like one so no offense) but babies do things differently at different times. My son is six months and has never growled at all. He’s made all sorts of noises like roaring and learning to cough but that’s because he’s copies what he sees us do. Your baby should be babbling at some point, my son does it now. But we also talk to him and copy his sounds and say them to him! Hope that helps a little?

Edit: I genuinely thought it was a joke so that’s my bad 😂 but I edited my comment to further explain.

@urbanlegends Just because it’s up there doesn’t mean your baby is going to do it. On the checklist for 4 months it said babies should turn their heads responding to their name, my baby didn’t do it until 6 months so it’s fine if a baby doesn’t doing something on a checklist. It’s not really anything to worry about. A pediatrician will tell you the same.
