6 weeks but measuring 4.3. Give it to me straight!

@retroman40a Yes, if that was 8dpo/3w1d on the 19th (earliest possible), then yesterday would have been 4w5d. So measuring just two days behind is not such a big deal, especially if hcg rises appropriately. But that’s assuming that you got the positive test as early as possible (10-11dpo is much...

Crying my eyes out over low HCG at 10 DPO. Is this a chemical?

@sriley01 My hCG was 35 at 13 DPO and it was my only successful pregnancy! The other two pregnancies, I had higher values at the same DPO, and they both failed. It definitely isn’t the end-all this early.

No fetal pole largish yolk sac 8 weeks

@delad3 When did you get your first positive pregnancy test? That can also signal whether you are actually measuring behind or there’s a possibility you actually are early.

4th loss: it seemed too good to be true

@wavecure I’m so sorry for both your lost babies and your physical trauma. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a smooth road to your baby in your arms.

Crying my eyes out over low HCG at 10 DPO. Is this a chemical?

@bskicrash1 Hugs, take deep breaths. This is fine. You might have been 5 yesterday and 8 today is great! You need to wait for a few more draws to draw any conclusions about viability from hcg (unless it goes down). Best of luck! Your progesterone is great!

    Should we track HcG levels?

@clairebear0239 I think it much more likely a chemical will happen before 5w, as that is when the hcg usually is sufficient to support visualization of some evidence of a gestational sac and thus it becomes a clinical pregnancy. If you want betas, maybe consider getting one at 16dpo and one at...

First pregnancy ended with a loss.. Need some advice on what to expect.

@luin31 I’m so sorry for your loss. You should expect to bleed, possibly a more painful and heavy period-like experience. But it does vary person to person. I would definitely be expecting it within the next week, and ask for medication if it does not start so that the risk of infection is...

    HCG levels 18dpo / 5 weeks 3 days

@sandpiper22 I wouldn’t use LMP, it’ll just stress you out for being “behind” when you are not. Without any previous data points, all that can be said is that’s a perfectly normal 18dpo beta result. Best of luck for your pregnancy! 💕

    3 weeks 1 day

@jessi1194 People are still normally implanting at 10dpo. Sometimes I wonder where these doctors learn things 🤔

What to do when tests are lightening?

@thyrodandstaff At 19dpo it is possible, but less likely, that you are having a variant hook effect. This is where the test gives the correct result (positive or negative), but the test line darkness doesn’t correspond to hcg level (it gets lighter as hcg gets higher). You can identify this by...

    4w4d bHCG - hopeful

@yommie It is impossible to tell what your hcg was doing at that time for your other pregnancies. It could have been coming down by the time you got those draws. It could have started strong and then limped along. So no conclusion can be drawn comparing them. You can take heart that this is a...

@greymon Best of luck 🤞🏼 I know this week will drag on and on, but soon you will know 🫂 When did you test positive?

    Hcg didn’t double

@greymon Momo, I saw your ultrasound update last week. Have you had your follow up? Sending good thoughts your way. ♥️

    Hcg didn’t double

@greymon This is wonderful!!! The success stories I have seen when betas go sideways, they tend to recover the next draw. I would take heart that your doubling recovered so well, assuming the draws were no more than 4 days apart (as hcg slows down again naturally at 6,000) 🫂

    Hcg didn’t double

@greymon I’m going against the grain here. That is a 129 hour doubling time, with 72-96hrs being the large majority of viable pregnancies at this level. It generally doesn’t slow down so much until after 6,000. I really hope it turns out well, but this was almost exactly like my blighted ovum...

help me make it make sense. TW// mention of possible BFP/ D&C

@wael She could easily have gotten a negative test on 3/29 had the sperm waiting from 3/27 to fertilize the egg that she ovulated that day that would put her at 11 DPO today so it’s completely possible. She could even have ovulated prior to getting negative tests, as ovulation can happen up to...

help me make it make sense. TW// mention of possible BFP/ D&C

@ghillie I think this is probably a new pregnancy, but hard to say for sure because you were using easy at home and then switched to FRER, so the different sensitivities could explain positive now, but negative a week ago. Seems like a stretch, though . You had consistent negative tests, and...
