Please tell me what to add to my stash to make overnights stress-free (currently using disposables at night)

@mj82 You really need a hemp fitted for overnight at your baby’s age. I don’t think you’ve got anything in your stash now that’s going to cut it. I love pooter’s super soaker’s.

Very hard water folks - what do you use for powder detergent?

@defoehorses Since you live in an area with extremely hard water, I’d check your local stores. There may be an off-brand Calgon that doesn’t contain fragrance. Otherwise, according to this you can still use borax. I believe you need 1/2 cup in both prewash and main wash.

    Help pls

@griff340 For your case, I would not rely on detergent buildup to wash dirty diapers. I doubt you had washed them enough to create an issue with detergent buildup. Wash them, then rinse until no more suds. Adjust amount of detergent so you aren’t using too much the next time.

    Help pls

@aymgoa So after reading through your post and comments, here’s what I would do: 1.) trash that worksheet and whatever group you got it from. Recommending no detergent for the prewash is bad advice. 2.) I think maybe you had detergent buildup before, but not necessarily now. It just doesn’t...
