@danish84v Yea it’s possible, but doesn’t mean it will happen for your baby. Sounds like a strong sleep association. Falling asleep independently will greatly reduce your night wakes.
@gebphoenix I wouldn’t be trying to night wean at 4 months. Every baby is different, she might need feeds in the night for a bit longer. Generally night weaning isn’t recommended before 6 months at the youngest. How is initial bedtime going? Feed ending 30th min before bedtime?
@mjkobe If you don’t want to enforce consequences on social stuff pick a different consequence and make sure she knows about it before, ie if you do x I’ll do x. If it’s a surprise that’s usually where the rage comes in.
@instrument150 You’ve got this! 1 hour and 10 min for the first night for us. For months and months (hopefully years) of 1000% better sleep. There will be bumps in the road and don’t expect your journey to be linear.
@beloved926 Oh yeah that wasn’t abnormal for her though, never napped longer than 1 hour and 20 min at a time until we dropped to 1 nap. On 2 nap days she’d usually do 40/40 lol. So I think your NK is obviously higher sleep needs but the early morning wakes and nap refusal tell me it’s still a...
@beloved926 Definitely I’d recommend to cap each nap at 1 hour, but honestly probably ready for 1 nap. When we first switched we had to do a cat nap around 10am for like max 20 min. And then big nap around 12:30/1pm!
@evelynssye Even if you stop breastfeeding you’re still babies main source of comfort and safety. The wakes won’t necessarily stop if you start formula feeding especially if they’re developmental! We survived by sleep training!
@voice_itw Firstly you don’t need to listen to your dr on this one, they can give advice/tips but it’s not a rule. If whatever you’re doing now is working I’d keep doing it. This sub doesn’t recommend sleep training before 4 months. There are some things you could do at this age but in my...
