Forced to use disposables for a few weeks--WHY DOES ANYONE DO THIS?!

@randomelement Dirty disposable diaper have their own stink that lingers. Many people I know don’t throw them away indoors, they take them outside immediately during the day or wrap them in a plastic grocery bag at night... lots of waist. One diaper in the house can linger for a while.

Doctors think my 1 year old has type 2 herpes. I’m at a loss

@okwithoutanswers There are some things worth being excessive over. You are doing a good job. My husband and I wipe our cellphones down multiple times a day with antimicrobial wipes too. We have had a couple bad diaper rashes and it's just easier doing prevention and having a kid without an...

Doctors think my 1 year old has type 2 herpes. I’m at a loss

@callielovesjesus A lot of people don't think to change diapers with clean hands. Unclean hands can transfer bacteria and fungus, along with viruses, to a very moist environment. Notice how many times a day you lick you fingers, pick stuff from your teeth, touch your mouth, scratch your...

What’s your opinion on v tech / active toys?

@jzhanglsw I prefer the Baby Einstein music station and pianos, personally. My son thinks it's amazing that I can hum the songs before they comes on, the songs are seared into my brain. I agree, VTech toys are obnoxious. And those animals that interact with each other are creepy.

Are there any positive long term outcome stories from babies on ECMO?

@smta The main issue is what is the cause of needing ecmo. Lots of kids are on ecmo for various reasons. Depending on what led them to ecmo and how long they were on it, they can have thriving futures. ECMO itself won't have as much influence on their future as the why they are on ecmo and the...

What do you like and dislike about your jogging stroller? I’m overwhelmed

@preng I really like our Baby Jogger City Mini GT2, we use it as our only stroller. It's smooth and works for taller people with long strides. Also super easy to unfold and fold. Great shock absorption. Works in light snow. I don't run or walk with a stroller once the sidewalks iceover. The only...
