Z=S

As far as names go, what are your general thoughts on using "S" names, but then substituting the S for a Z, while still using the same sound. I've suggested this a couple times, but SO isn't sold (hasn't said no yet, though).

@djgolden Hmm, can you give an example? I think it could work for names like Sara/Zara, Sadie/Zadie...

But keep in mind your child will likely end up having to correct the spelling of their name for the rest of their lives.

Do you like any names that traditionally start with a Z? Zeke, Zack, Zoe?

@ethiosol Zarah, Zierra, Zerena, possibly Ztephanie. Have other ideas for boy names. I didn't have sisters, so I'm hoping for a daughter, and my own name starts with Z, so I'm simultaneously hoping to pass that on.

Millions of people everywhere (including myself) are asked to spell/pronounce their names all the time, so I don't really see that as a worrying point.

I'm not opposed to traditional Z names, but there are so few for girls, and my niece is already named Chloe so I'm not sure I want rhyming cousins.

@djgolden I think rhyming cousins would be cute! Not nearly as obnoxious as rhyming twins (sorry to anyone with twins who have names that rhyme)
