TW! 6 week miscarriage

Hi everyone,

Over the weekend I unfortunately had. Miscarriage, with minimal bleeding and no clots until I passed something last night. If you are comfortable I have a photo of what I passed, however as I was 6+0 it didn’t make sense to me to see a placenta, cord and fetus(?) all attached. This doesn’t make gestational sense to me!

I want to know to know whether to bury it.

@phillip Are you sure on your timing? I just had a chemical last month. I had heavy cramping and heavy bleeding. My doc wanted me to get bloodwork and an ultrasound to make sure I passed everything.

@ciscochinhhang Yes I had an ultrasound scan about 3 days before where they messaged the fetal pole/ gestational sac, it also matches up with my dates. Am I able to send you a photo?

@phillip Respectfully, I’d rather not. But contact your doctor for sure. They need to make sure everything emptied.
