@mountainlaurel21 No big deal in what way? I’m saying it needs to become a more touched on topic by people having kids. We don’t need to be scared of it.
@loudindie If you treat children as children then it is more difficult. Whereas in previous generations of my family children were basically small adults. So, they would be equally involved in chores, housework, assisting with family business, and taking care of younger siblings. So, it is like you have a whole community caring for one another rather than two adults caring for children. Surely, economically they would be considered poor, but my family comes from a generally poor country: it was average and, thus, an acceptable level of discomfort/struggle.
