@shanebird Honesty I just know how depressed it was making me and the pressure to breastfeed was making me feel like a failure constantly because my body wouldn't keep up. She was eating maybe 3- 4oz but she wasn't gaining weight well, and was 3rd percentile when she was born. So as she wanted more to eat, more of that had to be formula because my supply didn't keep up with her growth. She's now 12th percentile so massive growth spurt in the last month!
@shanebird I had my baby at 36+1 on August 16th. He was 6 lbs 11 oz. The first week, he had three hour sleeps and I thought I’d won the lottery. Then, he dropped down to 60-90 minute sleeps for the next three weeks and 2-3 oz per feeding. The last two days he’s gotten four ounces most feedings and has been asleep for 2.5-3 hours. It’s glorious. Newborns are such fickle creatures and I swear all parents forget this time period if they go on to have more kids.
